We are looking for a variety of materials, including informative articles, stories, poems, opinion, and helpful hints---about anything that might appeal to teenage readers. If you have something to share with our readers, by all means send it. The worst that can happen is we don't use it.
We prefer electronic submission, either e-mail or floppy. Paper is acceptable, but must be typed. Include an self addressed stamped envelope (SASE) if you want your materials returned. Make sure your materials include your name and address, and students may include their schools. Authors may include graphics, including photographs of themselves. We will withhold your name if you wish, but we must have that information. We may decide to change or withhold names for sensitive subjects.
We will look at anything that's sent to us, but we might not use it. We reserve the right to edit, and we won't ask for the author's approval of the final copy. Depending on time, we may not be able to offer individual critiques, nor explanations for why material is rejected. We do not insist on being the first to publish your work, but we must know where else it was been published in case the other publications have rights to it.
All published material becomes the property of Teenlife.net.
If your material is rejected, please don't be discouraged. All authors experience rejection, even when their work is very strong. Keep submitting.
